We paid a fair price during the balloon fiesta. Staff was very friendly. They even prepared free bag breakfasts for those leaving early for the event. That’s impressive! The area around the hotel is run down but we felt safe. The hotel was clean!

The staff here, particularly Juan The front desk attendant couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The room is clean. The hotel was clean. The option to do laundry was extremely convenient and appreciated. The breakfast was an exceptionally nice perk! I’m already planning my next stay!

Comfortable enough

If you are looking for somewhere to get a few hours of sleep this is perfect. Was comfortable enough and the staff were super friendly. Seems like it is in the middle of an area that isn't the nicest but I found a FABULOUS place for dinner less than 5 minutes away. I would stay again.

Somewhere in the description of property there needs to be a warning for how bad the neighborhood is. It's not safe to walk anywhere.

Extremely unsafe area. Hotel was dirty and didn't sleep a wink due to hearing every noise from people above us. Homeless people surrounding property. Not safe with children.

For the price and the high review scores I was shocked when I got to this place. I felt like Clark Griswald in East St. Louis..."Roll em up!" Granted nothing happened and the breakfast was actually pretty good. The staff was fine...but it should be about 30% cheaper than it is based upon the property location (scary) and the condition of hotel (old but clean).

We just needed a place to stop and get some rest till we continued on with our trip. Having booked this site unseen we were very pleased. The breakfast bar was nice. And a hotel was nice. And the front desk Roger was very, very friendly when we checked in and very informative.

Homeless people nearby, closed building next door, musty smell in room. Could hear people walking in room above. Did not get much rest. Front desk personnel friendly, willing to move me to another room, but had full capacity. Breakfast area clean, coffee and tea available at all hours. Was able to stay with pet for small fee. I won't stay again, I'd have to check into a hotel with an indoor pool. It rained two days, and pool was outside.
