"The suite we stayed in was so spacious with a lovely view. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly, helpful and really cared about our request for a quiet room. A lady at the reception (sorry didn't get her name) was particularly helpful with our many requests for boat ride to the caves, bus to the old town centre, and train ride to Lagos. There were a couple of good restaurants nearby, we tried the Thai restaurant and also Cantinho do Mar 3 course menu at an unbelievably good...

"This property is nothing but beautiful and in a peaceful location, though I would day some of the services in the pool bar area was not upto the standards one would expect as a 5 start resort. Furthermore, vegetarian options were very limited for lunch and dinners. Breakfast, however was excellent! Shoutout to Isabella on the reception desk, she was excellent!! "Easy check in and check out. Pleasant and accommodating staff. The property and room were clean and comfortable. Several food options at the hotel as there aren’t many restaurants around the area unless you walk to the strip. Aldi’s grocery store close. Uber and taxis made it easy to get around but we walked around town and the beach for the most part. All in all a great stay for the price. "

"We had a 4 day trip here as a family of 6....4 children ranging from 15 to 5. The apartment was spacious, had everything we needed, was clean, comfortable and easily accessible with car and by foot. The beach was a couple of minutes walk (lovely sandy beach) plenty of pools, bars and places to get food. We were out of season so the xomplex was very quite...we really enjoyed our stay and will return"

"A lovely, clean and spacious apartment with fantastic sea views. The staff all around the complex, including the front desk and cleaners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything you need is within walking distance, the beach, bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacy etc and Olhos d’Agua is a resort still with some traditional charm. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

This was excellently acknowledged and our early check into the hotel was fully accomodated. My travelling party needed the extra support and this was honoured by the reception team. "This is not a 4 star hotel! Despite having a nice pool (with few sun lounges) and being in a good location, the additional costs of a kettle, iron & pool towels is mean-spirited & not consistent with a 4 star hotel. The limited, inflexible, unappetizing breakfast is also poor. In a country that grows millions of oranges, why would you offer guests orange drink?
