The Pioneer Motel

"The room was simple but had several kitchen amenities that were included: Keurig, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutting board. The room had ample travel coffee cups and plastic knives and forks. Bathroom had shampoo conditioner, makeup removers, and soap. Bed was more on the soft, smushy side- though not uncomfortable. Room was clean and staff respected the do not disturb sign. I would recommend!"

"The hotel was lovely- right on a beautiful lake- and all of the rooms have a patio or deck off of the room that looks onto the lake! The room was clean, and it was handy to have a microwave and refrigerator. Our only complaint was that the bathtub was very slippery! But we had a great stay & I would highly recommend the property! Thank you!"

"This particular location has a staff worth mentioning, the first night was 3rd party booked, but the second and much needed night was sorted directly with me and the wonderful staff. Did not pay extra for my emotional support animal (dog who believes she's human), got a better discount and was remembered with smiling faces by the sweetest staff in Anchorage. Will book again for this. Comfortable, quiet, and next to a Lowe's? I think yes x10."

"Breakfast is bare bones. They were repainting the lobby and it was very loud with constant machine beeping. Lots of homeless hanging around the outside of the hotel. First room had no AC. Second room had a cracked sink. Room layouts are great!"
