"Was great"

"Go to the Holiday Inn. Our stay was terrible. We paid as much or more than we would pay at the Holiday Inn in Port Lavaca. We decided to just try a new hotel and it was the worst mistake ever . I was so disappointed at the establishment they behaved as they were a poor hotel. The breakfast was old and it was first come first serve they served very little and once they were out, they were out they never replenished it. The same with the bathroom towels when did you use them? You were out we were there for two days and we only received towels for one day once we used the ones provided for one day and we were done we were not allowed to have new towels. It was terrible.!!! "

"The owner greeted us and was so nice and accommodating. The location is fabulous! A perfect place to get to the fishing spots. The people staying there all appeared to be fishing as well- all very nice people. The ice machine was great and close by, and the breakfast, although not much variety, was a good start to the day, especially the coffee. The shower water pressure is the only thing that could be improved for the stay. Everything else was great for a fishing weekend. This is very simple accommodation, but all that is needed for fishing."

"The Room 122 had a broken desk desk chair. I call the office ask for a replacement and he told me thats all they had. No replacement with plenty off vacancy rooms . Nice chairs. So the room had bad spots on the walls. Restroom area paint peeling onthe door of Restroom nasty. Sink area had know light it was broken ask for replacement to lady that clean rooms she did let them know a they came in while i was gone and fix it. She did come everyday to clean my room but i keep it clean my self in between the be the electric plug box and wires were hanging out of the wall dangerous. I had to plug my CPAC and phone in it. Nothing work for the breakfast buffet just had cereal and1gal. Of milk and hony bun or a twinkie. And apple jucy. Thats it everyday. Turn in key card. I said Thank you he ignored me and i left 10 am"

"Cons: Pool was dirty, no tools to clean it. Staff was NEVER on site, trash bin by the pavilion was full the whole time. All BBQ grills had broken grates making all of them almost impossible to cook on. Room was clean, if you don’t count the areas where the floor meets the wall, especially around the beds, where the hair, dust, and dead roaches gathered. The beds were like a box of springs with a thin blanket on top, very uncomfortable and outdated. We reserved a room that slept 6 for 2 nights and were provided 4 cheesecloth like towels, 3 washrags and 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, once we ran out of both and needed more, you guessed it! Nobody there to provide more. Only the $300/per night rooms have a kitchen. We had to purchase a hot plate and electric skillet to make our meals. Pros: Good WiFi, cable TV, lots of hot water. "
