"It was a massive disappointment! We booked this hotel specifically to spend a day at their spa for our babymoon. When we got there, they told us all spa amenities were closed until the next day at 11 AM, when we were expected to check out. Had I known, I wouldn't have booked this hotel or even stayed in Aracena at all! It is misleading that they do not let you know beforehand on which dates the spa will be closed. I won't be back. "
"Hotel is in a great location near the center of the small town. When we checked in no one was around to greet us so we had to walk down to the kichen area to find someone
The room was very small but nicely decorated. TV had no English channels available - BBC did not work. Bathroom was poor w a shower curtain that let water come out. No lotion and cheap shower gel. Just a few euros would make it special
Breakfast is Spanish w toast but no pastries but a lot of cakes available. Fruit ran out and was not refilled. Fine breakfast but nothing special "
"Our room was great except for the lighting which could be improved. In particular there is a desk and tea making area in a dark corner under the stairs and there is no light over the desk. I would have liked more power sockets near the bed, The bathroom was good except that there was a lot of space wasted on having two sinks and yet there was no flat surface to put anything on. We moved a bedside table from upstairs to use. We liked the secure parking and enjoyed the breakfast. the restaurant doesn't open until 8.30 pm which I know is not unusual in Spain but it would have been nice to be able to get something to eat in the bar. The hotel is convenient for the town and for going out walking which was our reason for being there."
"A unique property with a great history. The room was a generous size yet still cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time in the common area and had a great breakfast as well. :)"
"The hotel & staff were excellent, the breakfast choice was superb. Left a passport by mistake in the hotel room safe, hotel staff got it to us by courier the next day, big thanks to the staff."
"This place was absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful locations I have ever been to.
We are on a road trip, and sadly only stayed one night.
We will return and spend much more time here.
The place is charming.
The people amazing!
Very happy. "
