Run Away - Terrible Hotel
"This is not a 5 star hotel. They are lying to hotels.com and therefore to any potential hotels.com visitor It is barely a 2.5 star. Do not book it if you expect comfortable beds, soft linens, pleasant smelling rooms, or delicious - or even decent tasting - food. (In Turkey, where most food is fresh and scrumptious!) Their management insists that because it is all inclusive it is 5 star. That is not how hotel ratings are assigned and is total fraud. They would not refund us or change our reservation when we realized we were in a post-Soviet era horribly failed attempt at being “high end”. Hotels.com attempted to work with the hotel to address our concerns but to no avail. Note: I have never once written a negative hotel review. This place is terrible. The gym equipment is at least 25 years old. The food is stale and tasteless. The common spaces are not properly climate controlled. The rooms - the non renovated ones AND the newly renovated ones - are tastelessly decorated and uncomfortable."
