The food and drinks are a brilliant fusion, masterfully using the freshest local ingredients and traditional tastes while weaving in a sophisticated international influence. The cocktails were especially fantastic, creatively inspired by local fruits and spices, making each one a delicious and unique treat. Every meal felt both authentically Indonesian and wonderfully innovative. Even more impressive is the service. The staff are the heart of this place, embodying the warm, genuine local culture. Every interaction is filled with profound respect, kindness, and that famous Lombok hospitality, making you feel completely welcomed and genuinely cared for. "Fab place to stay, great rooms; with a fridge and open air shower and air con. 2 pools and right on the beach. Good food in their restaurant. And great location on the island. My husband did a dive day with them and the teaching was first class, I can’t fault their dive school. The only thing that was needed was a mosquito net over the bed but they wernt a problem just one or two that crept in. "

"We had a great time at Tugu. It is a romantic, serene place that I felt so far away from bustling Bali. Special thanks to Ardian, who always was so prompt and efficient whenever I asked something, to Made the chef, who patiently taught us in the cooking class, and for the last but not the least to the kithcen staff whom I forget to ask name, who served us the most perfect candle lit dinner on the beach that we 've ever had. "Pros... Staff and service. Views are wonderful. Pools, lounging chairs. Beach access was not busy. Breakfast was included and many options. Nice place to walk around. Loved the pool villa with a private swimming area. Cons... Rooms were very nice but somethings were a bit dated/didnt work well (locks, doors). Sewer smell coming up from the toilet and shower drain. Loved the stay overall! Great staff and location. Would come back again."

"My friend and me stayed in this beautiful hotel for one night after our Rinjani climb. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with the concierge manned by polite staff who speaks decent English. Our room was spacious and even had a small balcony furnished with seats and a table. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a great night’s sleep here. A couple of downsides though. First, the Wifi uses a login page and disconnects ever so frequently. The internet speed also slows down after some time. Second, there seems to be no hot water during the night since I switched on the hot tap and waited under the cold shower for more than five minutes to no avail. It’s ironic that there’s a sign asking us to save water when we had to wait quite awhile with the shower running before realising there’s no hot water coming today."
