owned hotel. Only downside was how busy the immediate area was - caused by swarms of cruise ship passengers. Try to avoid late afternoons/ evenings because the town is rammed then. Much nicer during the day."

"Fantastic hotel, in beautiful location. Great pool. We paid extra for a river view room, but were very disappointed to find a scaffolding tower to the side of our balcony blocking half the view. The room was set back from the front of the hotel and so the remaining view was limited (Room 501). We asked to move, the staff were very accommodating, but it would have to be next day as they were full. When we got back from our day out and went to the new room, we were not impressed. "Hotel was convenient. Reccomendation is to support drinking service in the evening. At 21:00 being 29 deg C outside it would be nice if one can enjoy the weather outside on the terrace with a drink."
