Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo

"I was very unsure about booking this hotel due to some bad reviews I read but I’m very glad I booked it! We have a lovely 5 night stay here, rooms are dated and bed is not very comfortable but bathroom was modern and the room had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, waking up watching the boats and the sunrise over the sea every morning was truly amazing! The hotel has a great pool area lots of space to relax and food and drinks were great too! The best part of this hotel was access to the beach which was a stunning small beach with crystal clear waters when we went end of September. The hotel itself is abit far out from Porto cervo but you can still walk it just takes awhile. Not many food option around to probably wouldn’t stay here if you want easy food access. But apart from that this hotel was a great price considering the area it’s in. I would recommend this hotel for sure! Just keep in mind you’ll need a car to get places."

"The location of this hotel was very quiet and private - not much around but that is what we wanted. There was one really good restaurant walking distance to the hotel that had beautiful sunset views. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk from hotel and they also provide a shuttle to the beach. The beach had white sand and beautiful turquoise water. You can have food and drinks at the beach club but if you want to sit at the lounge chairs and use the beach club pool you pay $30 per- person which seems a bit silly when the beach and the pools up at the hotel are free. There was a dj and live singer each night at the hotel providing a lovely ambiance. The hotel has amazing views of the sunset. The pools are both very nice - one is adults only. The drive into the town of Santa Teresa isn’t far but it is up winding roads. The concierge helped us make a dinner reservation at a nearby Agriturismo which was an excellent experience. Hotel room was very nice - clean and bed was comfortable."
