"Property was great. Staff was great. The pool was wonderful. But I do not recommend eating at Aeon. After 2 hours and 45 minutes...we received all of our meals. An hour apart from our family of five arrival of 1st meal. The restaurants manager did not offer any explanations or apologies. The food was not as good as the Isla Brown's food service provided."

"Stayed at the family suite, large, clean and had two spacious rooms and a decent sized bathroom. The staff is amazing, friendly and kind, really felt at home. Breakfast is generous, fresh and tasty. Front line to the beach and the restaurant is probably the best in Skala, and we ate at almost all of them… The AC is a little loud and so is the pool at some times but it varies according to the guests. All in all the best hotel in Agistri!"

"Five Star service, but 10 Star people. Froso, the Manager has a wonderful team of professional young staff who are educated, kind and engaging. They make staying there an absolute pleasure. The aqua blue water is pristine, clear and calm, great for swimming off the rocks where you gain access via ladders. Breakfast is excellent and so is the restaurant, with some nice Greek wines and some healthy food, although one suggestion we have is to begin service earlier than 19.30 hours as we don’t like to eat late. We stayed 16 nights and we would’ve eaten there more often at an earlier time. You can also walk to some nice restaurants and shops in about 8 minutes, no problem. They have a tennis court which you can use for practice but it’s not suitable for club match play due to surface imperfections. Certainly, we will return again next year for our third visit. They had an English News Channel (BBC) last year but none this time. However, you can connect to the TV with an iPad easily."

"This is a fabulous hotel which is under new management. Overall hotel is excellent including a fabulous location next to the sea. The only thing I will point out is that as this hotel does not obviously attract English visitors the staff struggle to understand but this does not takeaway from anything they do to make your stay exceptional and I would go back in a heartbeat."

"The hotel located across the private beach. It has an amazing view, restaurant with the breakfast option. In my opinion the shower in our room should be renovated. This is only the thing, that I wish to be better."

"We were very happy with the room and the pool area. The breakfast was great and a lot of options! We ended up having the breakfast in our room because of the amount of wasps, which the staff was very helpful with. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The hotel is close to everything."

"Mixed stay great setting, but not the right fit for us Overall we had a pleasant enough experience, but it ultimately didn’t fully match what we were looking for. The resort itself is in a beautiful location right on the water, with a nice private beach and plenty of sunbeds and seating options. The beach area was definitely a bonus. with views across to Hydra. The room was fine standard but entry door not much soundproofing. That said, the overall atmosphere felt very much geared towards families with young children. It was quite a busy resort, especially towards our final night when a large number of guests arrived, and at times it felt crowded and lively in a way that didn’t suit the kind of quiet couples escape we had in mind. The buffet was fine but nothing particularly memorable good enough for convenience, but not a standout aspect of the stay. While the hotel itself is well maintained and the staff were generally pleasant and professional, we personally didn’t feel it was the best match for us as a gay couple. At times we felt a little uncomfortable due to the general guest environment, not because of the hotel staff, but simply the mix and atmosphere of the resort. In fairness, we did spend a lot of our time exploring other nearby areas, which we really enjoyed, but that also highlighted that the resort itself wasn’t quite aligned with our travel style. Overall, a nice property in a beautiful setting, but more of a family focused resort."
