"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"The hotel was in a great location it was peaceful right by the sea . The staff were really lovely and helpful . Ionna and Joanna were especially amazing . The down side if you have issues with mobility it probably is not good as there are lots of steps , the only other downside is the food , not much choice and much as a same each night . But I would give this hotel 4 out of 5"

"Very nice experience at Elegance with amazing staff and very helpful Manager. She was attending all requests by herself. The rooms were very large and super clean and the service was excellent. "The hotel is in an excellent location, just two minutes from a nice beach, five minutes from the main square, and yet in a quiet spot. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The breakfast is superb, and the hotel has its own parking area."
