"Everything was really good apart from the following points 1. better instructions on what is included if one is fully inclusive 2. I saw a member of staff put his fingers into one of the food ( I think dried fruits or nuts) to take a handful and put it into his mouth as he walked past. 3. We made reservation at the Leda restaurant on Tuesday evening. The manager recommended Lamb shank and said it was the special for the day. The lamb shank was dry and not nice. It felt as if it had been sitting around for a long time being kept warm. There were 6 of us and no one enjoyed it at all. We also noticed that no one else in the restaurant had Lamb shank. We felt we had been conned into ordering Food that was not fresh and the restaurant was trying to get rid off."

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they met every request with professionalism and a smile. Definitely 5 star service and facilities. Would highly recommend. A special mention to the ladies at reception and Tanos in the restaurant. My husband had mentioned that we were travelling for my birthday and we had a lovely note, sparkling wine and cake in the room to welcome us, which was a lovely touch. Thank you!"

"What a shame, probably was a lovely hotel once upon a time. Now it’s tired and worn and definitely not a four star hotel. Pool closed and cordoned off . We arrived late last night to find reception manned fortunately but totally uninviting and straight away alarm bells rang as to what the condition of our room would be like. The room was actually clean, but creature comforts were lacking . A wooden stool for a dressing table chair. Two plastic chairs to sit on in the room after getting out of the more hardest uncomfortable bed possible. A park bench would have been more comfortable. The breakfast to be honest was ok plenty to choose from but again definitely not 4 star standards. If I had booked here for a holiday I would have been on the next flight home or found somewhere else to stay. It’s a great shame we have seen this hotel for many years in its day and it always looks lovely but now it’s just run down and tired .and definitely not recommended."

"Very nice , very clean hotel with beautiful view. Kosher food Not for those using public transport. You will need taxi to come down the hill. But hotel provides free transportation once a day."

"We loved every part of our stay at the Elysium. It’s a beautiful hotel. Everything from the room, the breakfast, dining options to the pools, spa and wonderfully helpful staff was just spot on. A fantastic hotel which I cannot recommend highly enough. 30 minutes before my departure, I realised I had lost a pendant. We couldn’t find it immediately but on my return home I received an email to say it had been found and would be posted to me. The hotel went above and beyond, I’m extremely grateful and will be back for sure!"
