"Clean rooms, breakfast was good (waffle batter a little thin, but good; maybe add an additional waffe maker); the front desk clerk (male; long hair) was really nice and helpful."

"The hotel is not what I expected for a Hampton Inn, it definitely needs updates and some cleaning up. The staff was friendly, we did not eat the breakfast, the area seemed a little dark and shabby. Probably would not stay again. "

"The staff was very friendly, but the hotel had roaches and was in bad shape. Also, the pictures on the website showing La Quinta Inn were not the same hotel when we arrived with no signage and in awful shape. "

"The desk person was nice and the room was clean. The motel generally looks shabby. Half full pool with green water and overturned deck chairs. Biggest shock: the lobby looks NOTHING like the picture on Expedia. Looks like a rent-by-the-hour place, gloomy and crowded with old furniture. I know KI is a budget chain but..."

"Check-in was great staff is super friendly. The rooms are huge and I love that you actually have a full kitchen the outside courtyard you can sit out there and just relax. This is gonna be my favorite hotel to stay at now."
"staff was so friendly the stay was wonderful the connecting restaurant/bar was so convenient. The courtyard was an excellent spot to hang out with our cadet while we were in town."
"Our #1 choice when in College Station. Clean rooms, great vibe and decor. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a good time with a solid night of sleep. Only con, if you book through a third party such as Expedia, they will go out of their way to remind you you’ve booked with a third party. The rooms they reserve for you are not as well located as they would be when booking directly with The George. This last stay they must have mentioned that we booked with a third party at least three times and placed us in the very last room, furthest from the elevator, and next to a room where they were doing loud repairs. You could hear restoration fans? blowing throughout the night and the work crew during the day. Fortunately, it was only for one night. "
"We had an excellent stay at this excellent small hotel! The rooms are super clean the breakfast was great, and the staff was exceptionally friendly! Will definitely stay here again"
