"The rooms showed there age but were kept up well. Clean and comfortable enough. A bit tight for those in wheelchairs. But, WOW, what a view. We just wanted to stay in the room and watch the waves! Who needs to shop! We booked through Expedia and did not get the room we ask for. Instead of 'Wheelchair access via an outside corridor' as shown in the listing, we got 17 outside steps. The staff was very helpful in getting us a different room for the wheelchair."

"One of the most beautiful spot to be on the Oregon coast. We were greeted warmly and found the place to be very comfortable and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. They have a lot of movies and toys to enjoy which my daughter loved and they also have a communal pantry so you don't have to buy oil or salt and pepper or rather miscellaneous things at the store just for one meal. We will definitely return again and make it more than one night next time."

"This is supposed to be a golf and spa resort, so I booked a one-night stay because my son wanted to play golf there. Even though it was expensive for just one night — almost $450 before the resort fee — I decided to give it a try. What disappointed me the most was that Hotels.com never mentioned that the golf and spa benefits/credits are excluded when booking through a third party. At check-in, the front desk staff member, Kirsten, informed us that none of those benefits were included because of how we booked the reservation. As a result, we would have had to pay full price for golfing and spa services on top of the already high room rate. Either the resort should treat all guests the same regardless of where they book, or Hotels.com should clearly disclose that these benefits are excluded for third-party bookings. The staff were okay, but not especially welcoming or helpful. To make matters worse, when we entered our room, it smelled like someone had just used the restroom. We opened the doors and windows to air it out, but the smell still lingered. I’m not sure if it was a plumbing issue or something else, but it definitely made the room feel unpleasant. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back."

"We woke up to a fire alarm in the middle of the night, had to evacuate the hotel in our pajamas, and stood in the freezing cold without sufficient coats for a half hour until the fire department cleared us to return to our rooms. The staff offered absolutely nothing to us - not even a coupon to their restaurant! To add to the frustrating experience, we'd paid for an upgrade to the ocean view room to receive a $100 hotels.com reward from our credit card company, but were then told the total price was $3.85 short to receive our reward. Without the reward, definitely feels like I overpaid for this room and our experience!!"

"It was a good room but the front desk check in was not very accommodating and seem too busy for me. The Restaurant in the hotel was very good. My family liked it especially because there was healthy choices. The hot tub was too far for my daughter to walk to in this hotel. The hotel called and asked more than once if we had a dog. They seemed overly alert about pets and I kept assuring them that our pet was at a resort that she regularly goes to when we travel. I do believe this hotel needs some more training with their employees. As long as we stayed away from most employees we had a decent stay. 😊"
