We had breakfast included which was lovely they had everything from fruit to full English. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the beach but there are restaurants and bars five minutes away. We had a lovely time thank you."

"The grounds as we came in were very lovely . We had a very nice stay and the owners/staff were amazing and friendly. It was easy to find and whatever we wanted was provided if possible. The only downfall was the maintenance of the furniture of the property we were in wasn’t great as they looked worn out and needed updating but other than that, I would recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Port Royal is a stunning, modern hotel with fantastic pools and a beautiful beach. It never felt crowded, making for a truly relaxing atmosphere. The service was exceptional across the board- and as someone with very high standards, the team well exceeded expectations. Being able to order drinks directly to your beach lounger was a wonderful touch! While I felt the all-inclusive options could have been a bit higher quality, and it wasn't clear why certain menu items required an extra charge, it certainly didn't ruin the experience. I would fully recommend Port Royal to friends and would love to return!"

"We had a great 10 day stay. This is a great family run hotel. Our room was good and the view brilliant. Cleaners came in every morning. Food was overall good. The salads were amazing and the gyros and pizzas were a brilliant addition at lunch time. The snack bar became one of our favourites for a quick toastie. Michelle behind the pool bar is a gem. She works so hard. All other staff were brilliant. Taxis to falaraki are around 15-19€. It was €36 to Rhodes town. At first, Afandou town seemed quiet and run down. However if you walk to the main square by the school there are really good bars for drinks. Special note to the Sky Bar in Afandou as well."

"This was a perfect stay for us. The resort was beautiful. The beach is a short walk away-less than 5 min-and includes free sunbeds. I preferred the beach on the other side of the resort (no sunbeds but not a big deal for us) as the beach was pebbles and therefore the water clarity was better. Free parking was available, the bed was comfy and the air conditioning was great. Very cute recently renovated rooms as well!"

"Lovely villa with a very green and welcoming garden. The room was very clean, everything was new and modern. The bathroom and especially the shower were amazing! Wifi worked really well, the fridge was perfect. Very close to the beach and really well positioned for visiting other parts of the island. There was parking in front of the villa at all times."

"Fantastic Family Stay at Afandou Mare Hotel! We had a fantastic stay at Afandou Mare Hotel as a family of seven. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming, the rooms were regularly serviced, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The outdoor pool was beautifully clean and well maintained, and the beach is only around five minutes away. A special thank you to the hotel for letting us keep one room until 6pm on our departure day, as our flight wasn’t until later. Check-out was normally 11am, so this was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Our 9 year old boy also completely fell in love with the hotel cats! He was feeding them and looking after them every day, we may have to buy one now! 😂😂 The only downside was that we weren’t driving, so we relied on taxis to get around, which can become expensive. If you have a car, the location is perfect for exploring the island. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Afandou Mare Hotel for a relaxing family holiday."

"Extremely friendly staff, well maintained pool, quite out of city hotel, amazing homemade breakfast, answered all out questions related to city including bus travels. Room cleaning services. Downsides - No iron in room, toilet seat was shaky and was charged £20 for air conditioning. Please note if you take taxi from airport it would be around £40 one way. Travel with bus, there is no live tracking and it’s pretty accurate to the timetable given on bus stops."
