There seemed to be a problem with booking - we rec eived an email from proprietor saying no space available and a couple of others on same vein - until finally one came accepting us - luckily we didn't see any of these before arriving at hotel where we were allowed to register (travelling by ferry so didn't think to look). We would otherwise have been very upset.

Wundervoll gepflegte und gehegte kleine Pension. Zimmer sind von der Sauberkeit her topp, die Ausstattung ist im erstklassigen Zustand. Der Vermieter sorgt sich sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder..

Et flott opphold på Electra pensjon, Egina

Electra er et familiedrevet pensjonat med et meget hyggelig og hjelpsomt vertskap. Rommene er bra, og med gode senger, noen har egen balkong. Pensjonatet ligger i en rolig gate, likevel bare vel 100 meter fra både havn, hovedgate og buss-stasjon. En stor takterrasse bør framheves, luftig og med fin utsikt. Det serveres ikke frokost, men det er kjøleskap på rommet, og vertskapet sørget på forespørsel umiddelbart for både vannkoker, tallerkner og bestikk. Hilsen Geir, Oslo

Hotel correct mais responsable caracteriel

Nous avions réservé 3 nuit dans cet hôtel du centre ville. Quand nous sommes arrivés nous avons été accueilli par les employées de l'hôtel qui ont été très agréables avec nous et nous ont montré notre chambre. Elles nous ont aussi demandé d'attendre le patron pour faire le "check-in" officiel avec lui et lui montrer nos passeports. Au bout de 5 min d'attente, personne et nous sommes donc partis faire nos visites. Nous avons passer la 1ère nuit à l'hôtel sans aucun problème. La chambre était très correcte. Le 2ème jour en partant pour nos visites nous avons donc demandées aux employées de la veille si le patron était finalement disponible pour faire le "check-in". Elles nous ont emmenés devant la maison a côté de l'hôtel pour nous présenter le patron. Celui ci ne s'est même pas présenté en nous voyant et nous a demandé de lui donner nos passeports. Je lui ai dit que cela n'était pas possible car nous avions loué un scooter et nous avions besoin de garder une pièce d'identité en cas de contrôle routier. Sans aucun explication il nous a dit que nous devions nous trouver un autre hôtel. Je lui ai demandé des explications et il a prétexté que c’était une obligation sur l'île. Or nous étions dans un autre hôtel avant et on ne nous a jamais demandé nos passeports.Nous avons donc - contre notre gré - du trouver un autre hôtel alors que nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits, à cause de cette personne.

Nydelig hvitkalket velholdt pensjonat nær strand og byens sjarmerende havn. Tak terrasse der solnedgangen over havet kan nytes. Denne delen av øya preget av vanlig folkeliv. Ikke en parasoll å se.

Un lieu idéal pour découvrir Egine

Pension très bien située à quelques minutes à pied du débarcadère des ferries. Bon accueil du propriétaire et du personnel. Terrasse sur le toit très agréable pour petit déjeuner le matin avec vue sur la mer. Très calme, propre, avec une décoration soignée, la pension Electra a un charme certain et est le lieu idéal pour découvrir Egine.

Simple but Nice

This was a well-located place, very clean, with comfortable beds, good shower, good air conditioning. The wifi worked most of the time. Always in the evening. The owner was friendly and gave suggestions for meals. Be aware that you must pay cash. He does not accept credit cards. I would definitely stay there again.

Kleine aber feine Pension

Die Pension liegt zentral aber dennoch sehr ruhig! Zimmer und Bad gepflegt und top sauber , gründliche tägliche Reinigung! Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend !gerne wieder!

schöne Pension in Hafennähe

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Pension in den Landesfarben blau/weiß in Hafennähe. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst zuvorkommend und erfüllen ihren Gästen jeden Wunsch. So erhielten wir einen Wasserkocher auf unser Zimmer und konnten somit unseren Morgenkaffee auf der schönen Dachterrasse genießen. In Punkto Sauberkeit reicht für die Pension Elektra ein Hervorragend nicht aus. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefüllt und können diese Unetrkunft nur empfehlen.

It all started of so well BUT....

It started off so well John the owner met us with some chocolate and a smile. The rooms ( we were 3 couples in 3 rooms) were clean but the air conditioning was set at 25 and we could not alter it ( although it was very hot!). We are all in our late 50's early 60's and on the first evening decided to sit on the patio area to have a drink before dinner. One of the party changed chairs as he felt they were not very substantial ( white plastic) but a few minutes later another of the party was just sitting there and the legs collapsed and he had a nasty fall. Also the glasses fell off the table and cut another member of our group. The owner was apologetic and after we put some plasters on her cuts we thought it was just one of those things. When we arrived John the owner asked if we wanted crockery and supplied each couple with 1 plate between us 2 forks 2 spoons two cups and two glasses. The next morning as we were going out the owner presented us with two more glasses for each room and a bill for 6 Euros per couple for the glasses and 8 Euros for the chair!!! We were flabbergasted and told him we would not pay it. He bacame very agitated and rude and told us we were swinging on the chair (at our age that is a distant memory!) his attitude was appalling and eventually he stormed off and we saw very little of him after that for the remainder of our stay. We would NEVER stay here again and issue caution to any one who upsets the owner in any way. He was not a very nice man.

Piccolo hotel gradevole

Abbiamo soggiornato, io e il mio compagno, in questo hotel a giugno per 8 giorni. La struttura è piccola, semplice ma molto pulita. Ogni giorno ci hanno cambiato gli asciugamani e rassettato la stanza perfettamente. Il gestore è molto disponibile e gentile. Dietro mia richiesta ci ha fatto trovare in camera un bollitore e tutto l'occorrente per preparare la colazione in camera in quanto la struttura non dispone di bar o di ristorante. Avevamo richiesto una stanza con balcone con vista mare. Dalle foto dell'hotel il balcone sembrava grande invece era piccolissimo. Non aveva alcuna vista sul mare ma bensì si affacciava su un cortile interno con vista sui palazzi circostanti. L'hotel dispone di una terrazza comune ma anche da lì il mare si vede ben poco.
