" My idea of going to Lake George is to go swimming in Lake George and The Villas allow you to do so very conveniently. It has a nice lake side area in a pleasant cove. It is sited between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing and via the Diamond Point Road easy access to the Rte 28 and the Adirondaks. Finding places to eat can easily be expanded to include Glens Falls area Lake Luzerne and Warrensburg. It is also nicely placed as a base for hiking and bike riding in the mountains. The Villas is a busy place during the day since it also is the home of the Thunderbird marina where you can rent a craft to go out on the lake. At night the grounds are quiet and well lit and we found our fellow customers to be quiet and respectful. The grounds and our rooms were clean thanks to a dutiful staff. I enjoyed my stay."

"This resort was a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting a permanent home when I come back to Lake George. The room was impeccable. Clean and just beautiful with a little view of the lake from a large size balcony with a hige high top table. The bed was soooo comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. Bathroom jacuzzi was great, water pressure all of it no complaints. There’s an outdoor pool that leads into the indoor pool. It rained on our last day while we were in the outdoor pool and we simply swam into the indoor one until it stopped. There’s also a Grotto indoor pool that was just as great with amazing views of Lake George in front of you. The beach as perfect right on Lake George. Theu provide Kayk’s, Paddle board and you can bring own swim toys if you’d like. The BoatHouse restaurant and Bar is right next door where you can grab a bite. The filet mignon was so good. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! "
