Lovely gem that is centrally

This hostel was centrally located with a helpful and friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Nice gem. Tours took off from hostel which wss great. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Lots of room to hang out.

Of course breakfast is a plus (some French toasts with butter, peanut butter, Vegemite and apricot jam). On the other hand, I missed some selves next to the sinks to place the toiletries.

Cheap, basic accommodation

Generally pretty good. Hostel accommodation was basic but certainly good enough for the price. I stayed in a private room and it was fairly quiet. Never had to wait to use the bathroom. They provided free food on Monday evening (rice and chilli con carne) and Wednesday evening (Dominos pizza). Free breakfast was available everyday but it is extremely basic (sliced white bread with a choice of jam, honey and peanut butter, or weetbix). Bar at the hostel is limited and only serves bottled beer. Linen is included (pillow case, bottom sheet, flat sheet). There are also duvets on the bed, but these are not washed between guests. Good location, easy to walk to the centre (about 15 mins).

Good location but thats it, I was late for the check-in but I have contacted for that and the staff forgot to send me the access code to open the door that was closed when I'm arrived. Also the 13 shared guestrooms is not very confortable and to tiny, no place for the stuffs. Even if my stuffs was on my bed, the staff has change the sheets and all my stuffs from the bed when I was outside.

Ostello semplice in buona posizione

Ho alloggiato in camera privata, dotata anche di lavandino. Arredamento essenziale, la camera si presentava discretamente pulita all'arrivo a parte gli aloni sulle lenzuola. Gli spazi comuni sono tenuti abbastanza puliti. Colazione offerta al mattino: thè, caffè, pane tostato, marmellata, cereali. La struttura è fredda, ho visto gente girare con il piumino in bagno. Nelle docce non ci sono i dispenser per il sapone quindi andate muniti. Posizione buona per raggiungere il centro.

Conveniently located quality hostel accommodation

Staff were friendly and helpful, quality and comfort of accommodation was great. Only downer was when one of the toilets wasn't flushing properly, management did not put out a sign out of order nor fix it overnight. Would have been helpful to have bins available for rubbish in room. Street noise can be a bit noisy in evenings when window kept open all night.

Super Auberge

Très bonne expérience. La chambre est correcte, le lit très comfortable et les gens très biens. Le personnel est 50/50, souvent au gré de ses humeurs mais tout est toujours pour le mieux. Attention, la cuisine affiche des heures d'ouverture et fermeture surtout qui ne sont pas respectées en fonction de l'humeur de l'équipier qui veut finir plus tôt. La cuisine est super, très bien équipée et propre, et le petit déjeûner très bien lui aussi puisqu'il inclut les boissons chaudes. Le service d'informations tourisme est au top. Enfin, un service de location de vélos est disponible et le bâtiment très bien situé propose de bonnes bières, des happy hours très appréciées, un billard pour s'amuser, un espace télé, et la pizzeria voisine rend bien service quand la cuisine ferme ! ;)

Cheap rates--helpful staff--it's a hostel

Stayed here while looking for an apartment. Good overall experience. Couldn't expect luxurious Marriot-like conditions considering I booked 7 nights for a total of $99 USD. bed sheets are cleaned, access to a furnished kitchen with the singular policy that you clean whatever you use when you're done, toast or cereal provided for breakfast, wifi, common lounge area. I Never competed with bathrooms. I stayed during the latter end of Australia winter.

friendly staff and super clean hostel

when i arrived i was greeted by staff super nice and polite stayed in backpack oz for a weekend i stayed in the cave room eds where comfy showers were actually decent and warm staff cleaned the room everyday. ive stayed in alot of hostels and this is the first one thats actually been spotless. the staff gave great advice on where to go and what to do. i would highly recommend anyone to stay in this hostel

Twelve Man Cave

The Hostel was good. I stayed in a room called Cave. It was a 12 person room. I stayed short term. If you plan to stay longer, I recommend a smaller room. The larger room itself was good. Warm but a little messy due to other guests. The location is great and they have free bikes up for grabs (daily). Wifi could have been better.
