Such a beautiful place to stay. Quiet, tranquil and luxurious.
Two days of pure bliss at this bucolic paradise. After coming here last year a return trip was an imperative. It was just as good the second time around.
This place is the perfect panacea for stressed city slickers. A chance to re-charge the batteries.
Idyllic surrounds and complete serenity. Even the birds were quiet in the early morning.
Plenty of provisions- it really was a home away from home.
Quick nights getaway and it ticked all the boxes. Private, beautiful grounds and yet close enough to restaurants/wineries for a quick drive. We were lucky enough to have a warm sunny afternoon sitting on the terrace outside, very relaxing. Fireplace ready to go was a welcome addition later on. Villa would suit 2 couples - was a little big for just us and décor in main bedroom was little dated when compared to rest of the renovated house. But that's just being picky, it was a lovely stay.
The cottage and surroundings was just perfect. Whether you wish to explore the environment or just relax with some wine, this is the place for you. Everywhere you looked there was something to see and admire whether it was the plants or animals. Just amazing and worth every cent.
The whole stay experience was perfect, the room was clean and prepared with eveything a person can think about and waaay more.. The soft music with the fire place is brilliant, fullll privacy the whole stay. Fridge full of food, spa was amazing, The owner Steve brought us a beautiful gift as well.
We Spent unforgettable Anniversary.
This was our 3rd stay at the nest and it was as wonderful as the previous stays. The location is wonderful, plentiful provisions and indulgent facilities. The walks around the whole property were delightful and allows you to view their other b & b properties. Lots of lovely detail greet you upon arrival and the local birdlife and other creatures are also out and about. Would have no hesitation in recommending AHCC to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
We only have 2 days leave and it is too short for this accommodation. At lease we better to stay 3 nights at here for enjoy Adelaide HIlls and Hahndorf. There is so many attractions and nice spots for visiting.
The entire stay should be recommended, from the booking, confirmation, reception/checkin, breakfast provisions and preparing the cottage before our arrival - this is a 5* service and should be acknowledged. The cottage is situated in the most beautiful location, with wide stretching views over the dam - very private and exclusive, perfect for couples. The cottage was serviced with great hot water and lovely fireplace which in the colder months would be fantastic. The beds are very comfortable, with many places to curl up and read and simply relax. How fortunate we are to have found a spice of the English Countryside in the Adelaide Hills - we will be back!
The house is located above a lake with its own rowing boat and full of perch. It is not overlooked by anyone. The house is like something from a fairy tale. On arrival the heaters were on, music playing softly and the fridge full of food and champagne. The food was renewed but you never saw the staff. Cold weather but the open log fire reinforced the sense of stepping back into history. Garden full of flowers and bees, cows in the pasture. And mod cons - radiators, fan heater, TV and dvd player and a choice of dvds, spa bath and the most comfortable of beds. I didn't want to leave. Most amazing and best place I have ever stayed in.
I just love staying here, georgeous view, great set up and thoughtful additions included. Love having a fireplace and supplies provided for preparing your own breakfast in the morning.
From check in to check out we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Everything was at hand from the full breakfast provisions, to the open fire-place to the dvd selection. Autumn here is sensational as are the private walking paths.
Such a beautiful place to start our married life together! The feeling of peace and seclusion began with the garden, and was continued by the music as we entered the house. The bedroom and bathroom were wonderful, and the kitchen was magnificently stocked. It totally lived up to expectations, and i would absolutely recommend this place for a couple wanting to get away and recharge. Such a blessing to be there!
