Good value

For this price you won't get anything better in Addis. Quite good location, close to the airport. Very good breakfast is included. Great staff, very helpful in organizing transport ecc. I would definately stay there again.

Excellent price quality ratio

Wifi didn’t work at all for three days and there’s no heating in rooms. Otherwise all was great. Excellent price vs quality. Clean and spacious rooms. Good advices and service from reception. Shared bathrooms are clean and shower is hot.

I’m super shocked that this place has been so highly reviewed by other guests, it really perplexes me. This guesthouse is very run down, and my expectations are not high having spent lots of time backpacking over the years. There was no toilet paper or soap in the shared bathrooms, and it looked like it had been a very long time since they had been cleaned. I paid online for a room with one queen and one single bed, and when I arrived they offered me a room with a single twin bed. Luckily there was another room with a queen bed that was available. The wifi wasn’t working for the 3 days I was there. On my way back through Addis I stayed elsewhere. It’s definitely cheap though, and the family was very nice, but it doesn’t make up for the poor condition.

Not a cosy place

Friendly staff, until I complained and announced to leave early. The shared batroom was very untidy and smelly, and there was no toilet paper most of the day. This is a pity. I booked to support a family business, but the overall attention to keep the place in order is clearly missing. There is some way to go to fill the gap between the nice online presentation (and positive reviews), and what I experienced myself.

Wonderful Place Central located

Michael and his team are wonderful people and I felt so much home and welcome. A unique place to relax and meet other travelers. Simple and true, I‘ll come again. Good coffee made just outside and always fun and nice time.

I feel like I gained a second home & family

I've been to more hotels/hostels/b&bs than I can count but I've never been to a place that felt more like home. Micheal the manager of the B&B became like an older brother to me, he's helped me book a bunch of stuff and even took me around Addis, everyone who works there is beyond warm & welcoming. The breakfast is also beyond expections, there's a menu & you get to pick whatever you want. I only booked 3 days but I ended up spending the rest of my addis stay with them.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, showers are hot and wifi was the best I've had in Ethiopia. Rooms and common areas are well kept and clean. Very good value for Addis Abeba, highly recommended. It's very cheap and easy to get to the center with the minibus-taxis leaving from the nearby roundabout. Close to the airport too.
