"Hotel looking a bit tired and very basic. Dinner was quite good but bar closed at 9pm with nowhere to go but to bedroom! Breakfast was basic with not a lot of choice. Very disappointed especially with the cost of the stay. "

Mingary Castle - Restaurant with Rooms

4.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Amazing rooms, staff and food. We got a tire puncture on the way there, luckily only 2 miles from the hotel, and the staff helped us find a garage and recommended activities for us given our vehicle-less situation. Note, no in room refrigerator and the hotel is closed Monday nights so all staff get a well deserved day off. The surrounding area is spectacularly beautiful with lots of opportunities to explore the Scottish countryside and coastline. "

"A fabulous self-contain duplex apartment with a balcony, adjacent to the owner’s house and workshop. A beautiful apartment for two and with the sofa bed, four people. The location is perfect for exploring the whole of the Ardnamurchan peninsula by car, with lots of scope for hiking too"
