"We required a kitchenette with a sink as our room had a kitchenette without a sink. (Culturally unacceptable for us to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink) We were upgraded to a unit with a full kitchen at no extra cost. Excellent service by the staff member. Our unit was serviced every day."

"They run a smart operation here. This was about the fifth time my wife and I have stayed here. The rooms are just right for an overnight stay when we come to the city to visit family. Tidy, clean, quiet and all the amenties we need. Helpful staff sorted out the parking. The restaurant has a nice French/Pacific theme. Great breakfast before a walk down to the Newmarket mall. Where else can you stay in the city for dinnner, bed and breakfast for a little over $200?"

"My favorite stay of my long trip. It was quiet and cozy, and the property was beautiful. The owners were very accommodating and lovely, and the property is very close to Remuera station and bus stops. If I return to Auckland I definitely would love to stay here again."

"This accommodation was a surprise on the out side it was a bit old looking but in the inside the rooms have been modernized nice good size bathroom nice bed very comfortable quite area with lots of food options and was close to the Ellerslie area that why we stayed there . The stuff was nice and friendly with easy checkin only think I would fault was the walls are a bit thin your could hear people talking in the next room apart from that was a nice stay."

"Perfect for an overnight stay for a function I was attending in the area. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and efficient. The room was quiet and well appointed. I was a female travelling alone and felt very safe there."

"Basic motel but has pretty much everything you need. It's clean, has a decent shower with excellent hot water and power, microwave, hob, smart tv with sky tv (including nearly all of the channels), aircon is quiet and a couple of comfy chairs. The bed springs sound like they've had better days yet the bed itself was still comfy. I just wish there were extra blankets as the duvet was a bit floaty (but not cold). There's a supermarket next door and another down the road with a few breakfast options along with a cracking Indian restaurant over the road. If you get the rooms at the back of the motel they're actually reasonably quiet plus there's free parking. If you're expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel, you'll be disappointed but, to be honest, it's actually hard to find fault. Like I say, basic but definitely more than adequate."
