Fantastic

Beautiful house, lovely comfortable room with all amenities. Wonderful friendly owners and a fantastic breakfast. What’s not to like. Would stay again and recommend.

Fronting onto a major route it was easy to access. There is a bus stop right outside, with off road parking at rear. It was very peaceful. Our room was large, bright, airy and very comfortable, with the smart tv we were able to watch a Netflix film (it was snowy February).

Brilliant hosts and excellent stay

Fantastic hospitality by the hosts. Excellent attention to detail and nothing was to much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable with everything I required, on-site parking was a bonus. The stay was finished off with an excellent breakfast. I will definitely stay again.

A really warm and welcoming stay. cozy fire and cuppa with homemade brownie on arrival. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast choice amazing and delicious. Even got a pancake for pancake day ! Thanks for the hospitality.

A very warm and friendly welcome. Pamela and David were very helpful nothing was too much trouble they were extremely knowledgeable of local area and all amenities. Beds were very comfortable breakfast was delicious a great stay. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very welcoming, cosy/ homely feeling to this guest house. Offered fresh tea/coffee and home baking when we checked in last night. Obliging when we asked for an early breakfast this morning, befroom clean, quite & cosy, We will book again if in the area.

I thought the place I stayed in Dublin was lovely and now I find myself without a string enough positive adjective to do justice to how wonderful the Aurora Guest House is! Love the area-bus 19 stops outside the front door. Very quiet and comfortable bed for sleeping. Delicious and nutritious breakfast. Great old railway paved trail nearby for running and close to the Winter Garden at Duthie Park as well as easy brisk walk to city center. Cannot say enough good things about Pamela and how welcome she made me feel. Best guest house in which I have ever stayed!

The Aurora shines brightly in Aberdeen

The guesthouse is situated on Great Western Road, within easy access of Aberdeen city centre, either on foot or by bus. A couple of nearby hotels have restaurants providing evening meals and there is an award-winning and very popular fish and chip restaurant nearby. The Aurora's owners were very welcoming and helpful as far as offering advice about the area, bus services and so on was concerned. The breakfast room is light and airy and there's plenty of choice on offer for breakfast, including weekly specials such as smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Special dietary requirements are catered for too. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this guesthouse to anyone needing accommodation in Aberdeen.

Best B&B I've stayed at in Aberdeen!

This was my first time staying at Aurora Guest House and would definitely return in the future! I live outside the city and from time to time need a room for an overnight stay. This is hands down the best B&B I've used in Aberdeen. You can tell the owners put great care into this place. The location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of the city centre. I was greeted on arrival into a warm, cosy reception area and offered delicious looking home bakes and tea or coffee. The room was clean, warm, cosy and quiet. Also easily the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a B&B or regular hotel - it was like being at home! There is a fantastic selection for home cooked breakfasts in the morning and mine was delicious. The service and quality along with price make Aurora a top choice in my opinion and I will definitely come back if need a room in town again.

Excellent choice

This is a great bed and breakfast to use when in Aberdeen. Pam and David are the perfect hosts, location is very good with only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride downtown, rooms are good, breakfast is excellent and parking is free and on site. Definitely recommended.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, an easy bus ride to city center. There is also off-street parking available. The location is great for exploring outside of Aberdeen with easy access to the main roads in and out of Aberdeen.

Top quality at a reasonable price

Everything outstanding. The room was well decorated and fresh. The bathroom had top quality fittings - not the usual rickety affair that you get in most Aberdeen B&Bs. Bed was blissfully comfortable. Downstairs a lovely cosy sitting area with a fire and stack of dvds for the insomniacs. The dining area is light and cheerful with a view to the garden which grows some of the breakfast ingredients. Breakfast was worthy of a fine restaurant: a choice of two special and a generous but light full Scottish. The hosts are delightful and helpful. Private parking. All at a very good price.
