The property looks worn from the outside like many motels/inns but the inside was spotless, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, spacious, the air conditioner/heater worked well, ample parking. The lady at the office was pleasant and very accommodating when I asked both nights for ice. I’d recommend and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Basic motor Inn that is old but serves the purpose. Clean sheets and blankets, hot water, air conditions, heat, tv…just a quick place to spend the night on way to Cabot trail.

The motel was very rustic and requires many updates. The tv remote did not work and after review by staff who indicated the Manager was aware of the problem however did not address the issue. We stayed in unit #10 and the furniture consisted of a table and two wooden chairs, without any other furniture to sit on other than the two beds. There was a smoke detector bracket on the ceiling but no smoke detector. This is a fire safety concern. The micro wave and coffee maker were stored on what appeared to be an old steel desk frame. I have stayed at the motel in prior years and it appears the motel has gone down hill a great deal. Hot water was a virtu after waiting a couple of minutes for hot water to reach the fawcet from the source. I will not book this motel for future stays and I would not recommend the motel and suggest travellers to make reservations at motels a little further down the highway.
