"For the price it was a nice stay. i didn't find it clean enough. i don't really know what to expect for so little money, I think the price/quality was just ok. rooms are noisy, luckily the neighbors went to sleep quickly. all in all fine, but a little more cleaning would be nice. "

"The owners at the home were lovely and we did enjoy our stay. They were helpful and well informed on the area. The Bikes also were a nice touch. We really enjoyed riding around Bruges. However the listed price was not the total expense. When I received the bill there was almost a full nights extra "property fee." "I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and we didn't waste any time seeing Ghent. I would stay here again without question."

"We loved this hotel, the family room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Didn’t eat breakfast at hotel as we preferred to go out and eat at nearby cafes. Its position was central and it was easy to walk around Bruges which is exactly what we wanted. The staff were kind and helpful."

"We received an incredibly warm welcome from the lady on reception. Our top-floor room gave wonderful views over the city. The bathroom is slightly dated but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was good, if slightly expensive. The area around the hotel offers a good selection of bars and restaurants. We found all the city sights to be easily walkable from the hotel. "

"Absolutely loved our stay! We were celebrating our anniversary and we had a treat waiting in our room (tin of Belgium biscuits)…nice touch! The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We can’t say enough about the storybook city of Bruges and the location of this hotel! Plus we needed parking and the hotel had some on site (which is rare in a historical area). We wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!"
