"The room we had had 4 steps between the bedroom and bathroom without any handrails. The flooring also blended together and on a trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I missed the last stair and had a hard fall. Fortunately, I didn’t break any bones which I could have, but I would suggest railings to hold on to in the dark."
