"Good spot to stay for concert at Ziggo Done (7-8 min walk). Check in staff were friendly.
Bed was the only thing that could use improvement (it had a sag)."

"My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago and we absolutely loved it! Very nice people, beautiful little farm and lots of attention to detail in the room and decor/amenities.
The fresh breakfast in the morning was delicious (especially the croissants) but as an animal lover my favorite part was their 3 super sweet dogs and the horses/cows. Would definitely stay here again and I’d recommend it 100% if you’re looking to stay away from the craziness of the city. It’s a very peaceful place and...

"Staying in the Breitner House is not anything like a normal hotel where you simply get an accommodation. Instead, it is a full experience where you can soak in the history and culture of Amsterdam up close. The spacious suites are gorgeously and artistically decorated, and the property itself sits in a wonderful neighborhood. But perhaps the best part of staying here is the opportunity to sit and chat with the proprietress as she welcomes you with tea and Dutch pie upon arrival and then provides...

"The hotel was extremely convenient for me who was going to a concert in Ziggo dome, that was the reason why I booked there. Easy to get to and from city center with train, and small walking distance from the train station. The staff was welcoming, the rooms was excellent and clean. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to a concert, football game and want to be slightly away from the city. "
"Much better than expected
We were quite worried before coming here because of some negative reviews we had read — people mentioned it was dirty or that the staff were unfriendly, and we were also a bit concerned that the place might attract some rough guests.
But maybe we were lucky — during our four-night stay as a family of four, there were many other families staying as well. In the evenings, lots of kids were playing table tennis and board games, creating such a lively and friendly atmosphere.
The rooms are simple, yes, but clean and comfortable. Every night we went downstairs to play games and enjoy delicious food together. The staff at the pub on the ground floor were especially kind and made us feel truly welcome — they really added to our experience.
In most hotels, our family usually ends up staring at our phones or iPads after dinner, but here we spent real quality time together — it was wonderful. Our kids still talk about Via Amsterdam and say they want to go back!
There is one small downside: when lying in bed, you can hear a low humming sound from what seems like the ventilation or boiler system in the hallway. It might bother light sleepers. I used earplugs and slept fine.
Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommended for families who want a fun, social, and friendly place to stay."
