"My family came from all over the USA to celebrate my Dads 100th birthday. I reserved the sea view suite with two queen beds. The living room area was large and comfortable with complementary coffee, refrigerator, and microwave. There was plenty of space for our group to meet to play games and enjoy each other. The staff was wonderful and brought us extra coffee. There was ice plenty of it conveniently located, and plenty of places to enjoy the outside activities from swimming to playing darts...

"Beautiful hotel, we got the ocean view room and loved our balcony. We eloped at the courthouse, so we needed extra space to get ready and the room was the perfect size for that. The staff was friendly and restaurant was convenient. Definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return. "

"Always one of our favorite places to stay in SB. Old, historic...you even get real keys! Seems to have gotten some subtle upgrades since our last stay, making the rams more comfortable and welcoming. Wine reception is always a plus."

In the Papa suite, we spent each morning enjoying our gourmet coffee provided by the host (with a wide selection of creamers) on the balcony, watching the sun rise against the mountains. At night we loved the fire and being so close to restaurants and wine tasting. The location is perfect - close enough to take a run on the bike path along the beach and enjoy great people-watching on State Street, but then retire to a quiet oasis for the night. "Most of the time, the pictures make the rental look better than it is. In this rare case, it was the opposite. The pictures made the place look fantastic, but it was even better in person. Very clean. Very luxurious. Private entrance and garage. Multiple private balconies. Everything is within walking distance. Great for families with kids. Couldn’t ask for a better location. "
