"This is a place that had everything we need for a holiday. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good with with more variety than the usual continental breakfast, very clean and modern room and it even has a little pool for hot days. There are not so many sunbeds so no guarantee that you will be able to enjoy this, but there were chairs where you can sit and dry in the sun. Close to everything and good value for money. "

"The Aurea Catedral is a fabulous hotel is a central location for exploring Granada. Large, quiet, comfortable rooms; tremendously helpful and friendly staff; Clean and well maintained throughout with a peaceful atrium to relax. Really a top flight hotel that we would definitely stay at again. "

"With a car this made an easy in and out for Granada. Parking was .2 miles before the hotel (more expensive same distance, closer to the cathedral). "

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel which is located near a cafe, the train station, an exceptional laundromat and a central bus stop which was all we needed. We had a room with a terrace which I recommend if you want a bit of extra space. Staff was top notch and room was very clean. Can't comment on breakfast because we took it elsewhere."

"Really loved the hotel, it’s staff, location, facilities and food. Only slight niggle was being able to hear the neighbouring room’s TV late at night - but think that’s more the fault of the neighbour rather than the hotel."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable . The kettle with complimentary tea and coffee was a bonus. Breakfast had plenty of choice to suit most people. Staff were helpful, polite & pleasant The hotel is very close to the Alhambra & only a 20 min downhill walk into the city .There is a regular hop on hop off bus service or tourist train close to the hotel if you prefer not to walk. On site parking is available. Hope to return later in the year ."

"The hotel is a bit out of the action. There is a grocery store a few minutes away, and next to it a very good, but small laundromat. The hotel description mentions "Laundry Facilities", which it does not have. It has a "Laundry Service" where you give them your clothes and they wash them for a fee. There are two nearby buses that can take you downtown (lines 4 and 21)."
