Top Inner Hebrides and Isle of Skye Hotel Reviews
The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"This hotel was okay, but nothing special apart from the lounge where the bar was and the fact that you can use the adjacent water facilities to a certain extent. However, I did think it was overpriced as the room wasnโt really any different from any other hotel room. The staff were helpful, my room was clean but there are a few cobwebs in the corners and the bathroom was a little tacky. I would imagine some of the rooms have a lovely view over the harbour but all I had was a bit of manky garden. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and it isnโt very far from the ferry terminal, so itโs quite convenient."
Skeabost House Hotel

Bracken Hide Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Hides were a perfect little private get away. The staff dropped our bags off at our Hide for us which was very helpful. The restaurant (reservation needed) was very nice, the lounge was comfortable and the drinks were excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. Lovely stay, highly recommended!"
Another Place, The Machrie
10/10 Excellent
"We are not golfers, but found this hotel an excellent, though expensive, place to stay. It had lots of amenities to appeal to non golfers and was in an excellent location with very helpful staff. A car is essential to stay here. The breakfast was very good, as I am sure was the dinner. However we chose not to have dinner as there didn't appear to be much plain food on the menu. Although it may have been possible to ask for this, we felt the price being asked reflected the complexity of the menu, and plain food would not have been value for money."
The Skye Inn
8/10 Good
"Average room with nice extras like a local bar of soap and short bread cookies. Restaurant with two or three course meals and allowance for just starters. Full breakfast included in our reservation was adequate. The carpet and couch seemed old and soiled but overall it was a comfortable stay."
