"I enjoyed my stay at the Freehand and will definitely choose them again for my next LA trip. There were some smudges of someone's makeup on the wall near the mirror and the desk table had some damage on it but otherwise the room was clean. The room I chose faced a street with a bar and there was some noise from people standing out front late at night but otherwise it was a peaceful stay. The rooftop bar is wonderful and open til midnight which made it a great option for a night cap without having to leave the hotel and the lobby lounge was a great option for getting work done during the day. A little busy but I found a spot and the cafe integral staff was very kind and accommodating. "

"Love when they convert the resort fee to cafe perks. Really professional desk csr checked me in at 9pm. BEDDING!!!!!! No fridge small room but beautiful old building. Fantastic fixtures & tile work. If the Figueroa is booked.... "
