"The host Joseph is very friendly and helpful. The property is very safe, presentable and quiet. Room is large with good storage, comfy bed & functional ensuite. Breakfast is excellent and service genuine and obliging. To get there you drive down a dirt bumpy road, with many local shops. We didn't go into the neighbourhood as transport came to us. I recommend that you have a guide when venturing off in the area or city."

"Kaliwa lodge is 1hr from airport & Mt Kili walking points. You must arrange transport with lodge to go anywhere as the lodge is very isolated. Located amongst banana plantation down a very bumpy dirt road. Lodge is surrounded by walls and is secure. The lodge has a garden courtyard with rooms around yard. "I really enjoyed my stay at Lake Duluti! It was peacefully and tranquil which is what I was looking for. The property is amazing with lots of trees, plants and animals. Having my own chalet gave me a lot of privacy and made it easy to have restful nights. The staff were helpful and made my stay comfortable and fun. They would have my chalet preped for sleeping when I was having dinner. I would stay at Lake Duluti again if coming back to Arusha. "
