The location is neighborhood style and we felt very much at home getting to know the different stores we walked by often. It’s convenient to the metro and or walking to the Notre Dame. "After I got over the initial shock of how small the room was, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sookie. The rooms are extremely tight, including perhaps the smallest shower I’ve ever used, but I’ve heard that’s very typical in Paris. We loved staying in Le Marais, and Hotel Sookie was well located. Great cafes and shops around, and very walkable to the Metro. The decor in the hotel was so stylish and attractive. "

"Breakfast was lacking, unless it’s included with your room you’re better off going elsewhere. However the charm of the hotel is unbeatable with lovely rooms and great air conditioning, not to mention a lovely location away from the dirtier parts of Paris."
