Svalbard Hotell - The Vault
8/10 Good
"The Valbard Hotel - the Vaut is situated conveniently within walking distant to restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and attractions. The Longyearbyen town is relatively small thus makes it walkable everywhere within the town. A sushi restaurant is inside the hotel so this is super convenient that is if you like sushi, sashimi and ramen. Staff is helpful. The only thing I dislike about this hotel is the room is very tiny and lack of storage. While I understand most traveler visits Longyearbyen mostly stay 1/2 nights. However, one still needs to have space for space personal things like hygiene items, combs, brush but itโs practically all theses had to stay on the window sill or inside your luggage. Other than that, all was well. We had an opportunity to stay at their sister hotel, the Valbard - the Polferen, we like this one better. Room is bigger it also has a restaurant connects to the hotel. Shout out for Anna the receptionist. Anna went above and beyond to help us have our room earlier than check-in time due to booking issue. Keep up your excellent service Anna."
