"For what you get, the price is a little steep, especially for food. Breakfast is done at 9:00; so when we got there 10 minutes after and were charged the full price per person for leftovers…waffles and bacon was all that wasn’t old and dried out, it was a little disappointing. And dinner was extremely expensive for what you get. Paid a third less for a better meal in town. But the views are unparalleled and during cruise season it was great to be extra far away from town. "This was the perfect getaway to truly disconnect from civilization for a while. A truly unique experience. The house is perfectly located on the waterfront with a view of the water in the mountains, with whales and seals swimming past. Our host took great care of us, including picking us up at the dock. There are some good local hiking, just watch out for the bears. Food and groceries are available, though limited. Everything is walkable, and there is beauty all around."
