When they inquired about breakfast the next morning the desk gal replied, "you got it yesterday". No coffee, no other food, rather curt response. They were forced to eat at the local diner for breakfast and ended up spending $25 for breakfast on top of what we paid for the room. Very misleading."

"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...
