"Let’s be honest - ur paying the money for the view! Decent sized rooms with older style decor. Compact bathroom with a shower over bath - which may not suit older patrons. Basic diner style restaurant (no alcohol served - as now run by the Navajo) The food was good - service needs some work. Great pitstop if ur going into the valley floor. Make sure u catch the sunrise over the valley - spectacular!! Expensive - but worth it (only one night required)"

"CLEAN. Shower pressure is GREAT. We made breakfast before we left. Everything we needed to cook breakfast. Only issue I had- as states it’s a condo and there are laundry facilities. I assumed it was a condo based on title and condos typically have their own W/D. There is a W/d but it’s coin laundry so be prepared. We planned to wash clothes at this point in our 9 day SW trip so was surprised. Easily solved - ran down to the laundromat and got change! Otherwise place was great, spacious and...

"As expected, it was an older affordable motel. We stopped for one night on our way to Moab. The room was clean and comfortable although showing it's age. The brownbag breakfast and coffee were appreciated. "

"It's a good location and a lovely lodge. It is important to know what the home has to offer fully before booking. I had planned to travel there during a rather warm period and when booking I saw that it had air conditioning. Upon arrival the A/C is actually only two portable A/C units in the living room. It was about 79 degrees in the living room area (with A/C's running). In the bedrooms and upstairs it was significantly warmer. Warm enough that after showering I was still dripping sweat. ...

"This place is fabulous! It was such a nice change of pace from chain hotels. We stayed in the Duke Room, which is basically a suite. We had two large rooms, including a king bed in the separate bedroom, and incredibly comfy futon sleeper in the main room. It also had dining table, microwave, mini-fridge. There was a nice, private bathroom off the main room. It was super quiet and the bedding was so comfy, we slept like logs. We also loved the decor. It was just such a unique experience. Highly...
