"Poor service"

"Our stay at Madayaw Hotel in Tagum was truly excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were well-kept, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. We especially appreciated the overall sense of hospitality—there’s a sincerity here that stands out. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel taken care of. If you’re visiting Tagum, I would absolutely recommend Madayaw Hotel. We would gladly stay here again."

"Remember you are in the Philippines so room was good for Filipino room. Close to everything in Tagum. Nothing on TV for an American to watch. Instant coffee only."

"I wouldn’t recommend this place. The place is ni w for instagram photos but the experience is not great for me and my company. Some staff are rude and they make you feel like you are not welcome in that place. I have to cut my days stay because the room is different from the one in the pictures. This place makes us feel unsafe the whole time we were there. "

"Too be honest this place is very clean, the only issue I had was the window unit was making noise, but, I ran out of luck, on this one! Nice bathroom too i was impressed! I recommend it, I will go back if anyone walks in a/c making noise, ask for a different room. Area is ok, but inside hotel is nice! "
