"There were a lot of spiders, dead and living, around. Maybe it’s just the area we stayed in? Other than the spiders, everything was great. Delicious breakfast, easy free parking. We didn’t eat dinner on site, but we enjoyed a drink at the bar. "

"This was a most disappointing night. We'd booked what we thought looked like a romantic cabin to hunker down relax and read books and just take it easy... It all started to go wrong though even before we arrived! We'd called en route, & said we'd liked to book dinner at the hotel for our 2nd night. The answer from the owner was "No, I'm sorry." (That turned out to be her answer to most everything.) Given the hotel is literally miles from any restaurants, we thought it odd that some restaurant...
