Hillcrest Mansion Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Hillcrest Mansion Inn was beyond a normal stay at a bed and breakfast. The place was had great views from the wrap around porch and the rooms really were comfortable that provided a historical feel and appreciation of the finer things from times past. The best part of the stay was how welcoming and friendly the host and staff were in addition to the hand crafted dishes prepared by the chef Martha. The 3 course meals will be remembered for a long time because they were so delicious and unique. We loved the fine dining and extras such as ice cream and cookies on the porch after we arrived. The place is only 30 minutes from Lexington or 1 hour from Roanoke and well worth the drive."
The Anderson Cottage Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Very accommodating staff. Rooms are well kept in view of the fact that the property is old and maintains some of the decor and charm of a previous era. A low-key and restful environment with easy access to local attractions."
Mountain Quest Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Manager did our small group a favor & prepared a sandwich, vegetables, & pie dessert for us. We stayed in the "Nautical Room," which had an assortment of nautical decor. The library in the place was enormous, with satellite bookcases throughout. Breakfast included eggs & bacon, with a nice assortment of cold dishes."
