"Room was clean although the bed was fairly soft & a little uneven. Unfortunately we were right by the pool with the pool towels (clean & a dirty basket) was by our door so people were often right by our door. Once we returned and a lady was holding a towel up so the other woman could change in front of our door! Talking from those at the pool went right through the window glass. There was supposed to be a 10 pm quiet hour but our neighbors didn’t pay attention to it.

"It’s funky but great to have both AC and a mosquito net. Basic washroom with a cold shower. Sometimes a bit noisy in the morning when all the atv ’s and motorcycles start but that’s because the locals are up even earlier getting ready for the day’s tourist expeditions. Close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again"

"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way...
