"This was an amazing property and we had a wonderful time. It is off the beaten path. There is no air conditioning so when it is sweltering it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. We had plenty of fans and slept with all the windows open. "

"The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a little farther out of the "city centre" but taxis are easy and cheap. The rooms were very clean, excellent water pressure, pool was clean and the onsite meals were delicious and authentic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We felt so welcome and pampered at this gorgeous resort. We were greeted and helped with our luggage, the Staff took care of our meal orders , grabbed extra towels for our excursion, made beautiful drinks. The rooms had a lovely view of the river and the sound lulled us to sleep. Gorgeous spot!"

"The best place to stay in San Ignacio!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, a little oasis just outside of the town center. The rooms were so clean and the AC was strong which we needed. The restaurant was great and so accommodating with our meals. All of the staff was wonderful and friendly. And the infinity pool was the cherry on top!"

"This place is amazing. We stayed for three nights before transferring to San Pedro, and I miss Blancaneaux! We transported by heli and when we were greeted by loving staff with horses and buggy, we were ecstatic! All three restaurants are delicious and fun, and the bar staff is fantastic! "Lovely hidden jem in Mountain Pine Ridge ripe with natural quiet surroundings, great food at the restaurant and amazing staff. Villas are comfortable and tastefully furnished. We stayed in the Sun Temple villa which’s great for a family of four. Food is great at the restaurant with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. A lot of times ingredients come fresh from the properties grounds. They have already onsite Zip lining and offer a variety of tours, some of which like ATM caves, Caracol and...
