"Located within the city, the resort is a perfect place for families with kids like us and we stayed for 12 days straight. It is an expansive property with 3 pools that gave us choice of where and when we go for a swim. The property is gated and secured. My 2 kids on another room could walk around safely around the property. The food is good and the daily night time entertainment is fantastic. The staff are also friendly. "I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! It's super convenient being within walking distance of Alona Beach, McDonald's, and Jollibee. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly whenever I need assistance, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious and beautifully decorated. I was delighted to find that they even provide hot water! It's definitely a great value for the money, and I'm already looking forward to returning to Bohol and staying here again."

"This is a boutique hotel and while is doesn’t have pools and nightclubs it has a charm that is unique. It is beautifully peaceful and the beach in front of the hotel is as good as it gets. The staff are amongst the nicest people I’ve ever met. Despite its small size Villa Umi offers a wide ranging food menu and extensive breakfast and even a cute little bar. Couldn’t have wished for a nicer stay. "

"This place is absolutely terrific. I've stayed there several times, over a spread of about 12 years and have watched it become better and better. This is where you go if you want the exact opposite of Alona Beach, which is only 4 miles away but a thousand miles from the ambience of the Dumaluan - and that's the way I like it."
