"Great place to stay. Very convenient spot if you want to explore West Hollywood. Parking is outrageously priced at $50 a night. The price is the same even if you stay at the hotel as a guest. The staff were good and the room was clean. "

"The Hollywood Hotel was very convenient for our first trip to LA without a car. It was clean, had a beautiful pool area and courtyard, and was close to the Vermont/Santa Monica Metro station. It was only 15 minutes away from West Hollywood by subway, and it was easy to get to the Hollywood Bowl and Dodgers stadium using transit or Uber. The neighborhood north of the hotel is pretty safe, as it is mainly a medical district with a couple of major hospitals. We walked it at night with no issues....

"As an advocate of adaptive reuse of historic buildings I enjoyed experiencing the attractive converted apartment -hotel spaces. Somewhat more comfortable sofas/chairs would have made my stay nicer, as would retrofit of the street-facing windows to make them more sound-proof. Also, the environment along 7th Street seemed rather sketchy"
