"We had a really super stay here. What a beautiful hotel; traditional, immaculately clean and so well equipped. We were made to feel so welcome for our short stay (hopefully longer next time!). The mojitos were fabulous! Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Brilliant host! Thank you very much we loved our stay!"

"Wonderful small hotel in the heart of rural France. Room was very comfortable, staff very attentive and a great continental breakfast. Plenty of space to park on the street street outside hotel. Great place for my two night stopover. "

"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....

We were really disappointed that this ‘grand old lady’ of a building in a beautiful river-front location 850m up a drive from the road should have been so neglected and let down by abysmal lack of service. We normally enjoy the individual charm and character of non-chain hotels but, alas, it was not to be. We stayed 2 nights as pre-booked in a premium room. We were checked-in in a friendly manner but found the room - extremely dated in all respects - had not been properly...
