Beach Cities Orange County 3 Stars Hotels

"Pool was closed for spring break-big problem. The bathroom door was cracked and got stuck at the top. Looked like water damage around the lower bathroom wall near the floor. Nothing what I expected from Ramada. It was an old motel 6"

"If I could leave 0 stars I would. Cable did not work! The water does not get hot. And the WiFi did not work at all. Then I was lied to and assured it would be fixed so I wouldn’t leave and cancel my stay. They lied multiple times and did not want to refund or compensate me for the night I was basically forced into staying. I had to cut my trip short. When I tried to get compensation for the night they forced upon me they denied the request. I had to find somewhere else to stay and ended up paying basically double what I would have because it was short notice. OVERALL I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!!!!!"

"Good place if budget is top of mind. Close to the state beach (can walk there), and stuff for the family to do (pickleball, mini golf, cornhole, swimming pool, etc). Place was pretty run down. Our shower door wouldn’t close, pieces of drywall trim were missing, and the a/c was pretty old and couldn’t keep up with the humidity. We (family of 5) stayed 5 nights, and the cleaning service only came once. They didn’t clean; they just changed bedding and brought towels. There was construction outside our room all day, jackhammering was pretty noisy and not relaxing. Staff was pretty friendly, which helps cuz you have to ask them for a lot…garbage bags, towels, check out equipment for activities, etc. Lobby had decent keurig coffee. It had a toaster, a microwave, and some dishes, enough for us to have basic cereal, sandwiches, bagels. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I was really trying to minimize expenses. But…HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant on site. The food was great (we ate there 3 times!), and by far the best spicy margaritas on the planet!"

"Nice clean, big suite. The parking being $45 a day for being a guest and paying 1800 before any parking or additional daily fees for 4 nights.. a little frustrating. Big suite and amazing view. Have blackout curtains for big doors but not for window that the sun actually rises in. No kitchen supplies.. big counter and fridge but no utensils or supplies to use, no welcome gifts for getting the best room. Coffee creamer packets appeared to be expired and crusty, lack of maintenance it seems… holes in screen door, big openings where AC can allow in bugs. If some things were fixed we may go back but the additional fees and parking were quite outrageous for a non 5-star hotel and experience. Once again can’t beat the views and beach access but definitely some things to work on for future customers. I don’t think it was worth $2,300 for 4 nights with the additional costs, maybe some discounts would have been appreciated for us planning ahead and choosing that location. "

"The gentleman at the reception when we arrived was very nice. The room was very disappointed. We booked an ocean view and it was not. It was a very partial view between 2 buildings. The room had a smell and we saw a cockroach in the room. The breakfast was not good."
