"I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it. "

"This was our first visit to Assisi and it did not disappoint. The location of the property was perfect. We had the best views of everything. Our balcony was so perfect. "There was information provided beforehand about where to park or whether we could drive in and drop off our luggage first. We found parking on our own but not before we got totally lost and wasted an hour doing it. We stayed 1 night because of the convenience of the location, but the bed was so terrible, room a bit dingy, and bathroom small that we considered forgoing the night altogether. We ended up staying but would not come back."

"The stay was very good the only problem was the ac units had been shut down for the season and the room was very hot 24 degrees and you could not open the windows as there were no screens and the mosquito were still bad. Great location easy walking distance to all places and the restaurant attached was very good. Breakfast was good even had hard boiled eggs which is a very rare thing in Italy it appears that no one eats a big breakfast here only pastries and coffee "

"This property was scary, no one spoke English so don’t even bother staying here if you don’t speak Italian. The room I got sad it was gonna have one full bed, ended up being a room filled with about 4 random beds."

"This is the ideal choice for someone who wants to visit Assisi for a day. It is close to the train station so you can drop off your bags when you arrive and then continue with your visit. I would emphasize that it truly is a "Modern Hotel" and the staff were very nice and accommodating."
