"This is a small, old fashioned hotel in a quiet area. Nothing fancy or high-tech but a comfortable bed and safe surroundings. Basic room with plain, minimal decorations & furniture but everything worked - lights, TV, air conditioner, frig, microwave oven, coffee maker, good water pressure and did not run out of hot water. It is located within walking distance from the Oceano Dunes and the beach - no need to drive unless you want to drive your car on the beach. The beach area was so expansive with very few people. What a treat. The price for the room is fair so anyone who gripes about it should stay home. The staff were friendly and attentive when I asked for a bucket of ice from the front desk since there are no ice machines on the property. I enjoyed my stay - thanks!"

"Itโs a low key. Place in a good locationโwalking distance to very good coffee, & good foodโItalian, Mexican, American,French. Our room outside was a bit dark & dreay, so was worried a bit before I entered (Tpd staff ! Front desk when checked out. Imagine my surprise when walked in to a sparkling kitchenette, bathroom (w/more towels every gotten # a 4 or 5* hotel. AC working very well, ear plugs for customers for sleeping, very comfy bed, TV in living room/separate from bdrm w/TV, & a smaller 1 in bdrm. We didnโt watch any, but good to know for others, right? Lots of storage (closet with shelves, hangars, just in our imhoโway beyond for a 3 * hotel, but there were no vacancies during our stay, so that certainly says something. our dog Chelsie joined us & slept ozily w/us on the bed, pkg, in a busy neighborhood, includedโawa Wi-Fi, & it wasnโt an โunsafeโ internet connection which is often the case. Enjoyed 100%, & will try again when visit Laguna Beach-which we always enjoyโa lot."
