"For a hostel it is a good choice, although we were there during off season and it was incredibly noisy. I can only imagine it during peak season. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but the cleaners and security guy were noisy at all hours. The onsite restaurant was awful, we had one meal and never ate there again. Thankfully the hostel is in a perfect location, on the most beautiful beach with lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby."

"Surprised that Isla has such good reviews on Google. It goes without saying that Isla is not a luxury accommodation and therefore it’s not super comfortable (which we knew going into the trip) but unfortunately Isla is nothing like the pictures you see on instagram - the island itself is beautiful and it’s lovely to wake up listening to the waves but the huts, communal areas and areas around Isla are pretty dirty and poorly maintained. "DO NOT BOOK! - this place does not exist anymore (we were talking to many people in town - no one new this place). Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they don‘t care that they have properties on their website which doesn‘t exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Bacpackers Island! The beautiful beach was breathtakingly beautiful and overall feeling very peaceful. This is a new family business and that's why there are no many reviews yet. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Food was excellent too! There are three shared toilets that were in very good condition and three outdoor showers. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for great party at New Year's Eve! "I booked 7 standard triple rooms for two with two separate beds yet you gave only 6 rooms rooms with only one bed. The website cover for the resort is deceiving showing the picture of the beach claiming its near the beach front but the real location is very far with narrow and muddy alley. The breakfast they serve is only bead and egg which when you are booking saying breakfast included hut they really accept paluto because noone will like tye food they serve for breakfast. With a very expensive rate this resort is beyond what you would expect I am a Travel and Tours company and the guest who stayed are my clients. I was bombarded with complaints and this is unacceptable. Be careful with this kind of resort. "

"This is a great hostel. Very clean, right on the beach, incredible service. It did get rowdy at night, but was not a trashy vibe at all - fine if you were not trying to party. We are a couple in our 30s and enjoyed ourselves."
