"There was no towels, no soap, no tissue paper. The pool was absolutely filthy. The shower didn't work at all. They moved us rooms which at least it helped that. There is no restaurant. There is no snack bar. There is nothing to eat. They said go down the road. There is a restaurant. It was closed. My Filipino wife got herself some soup at a nearby canteen and we brought it back to the hotel and asked for a bowl and our first answer was oh we don't have those until I kept asking the right...

"We had to leave for another hotel after we found the roof leaking in multiple places in our bungalow room. My laptop was covered in water. Bed was wet. Grounds were flooded and there was no restaurant nor cold drinks available. I rarely write a bad review, but this place needs a complete overhaul. I am writing to Expedia for a refund. "

"My girlfriend and I stayed three nights at Almost Heaven. Every aspect of our stay was amazing, from the food served at our kubo or at one of the nearby gazebos. We loved swimming in the brand-new infinity pool and kayaking on the lake. When I proposed to my girlfriend, the staff took photos of the event. We truly loved every moment of our stay, and hope to return in the future."

St. John the Baptist Parish Church (Filipino: Simbahan ng Parokya ng San Juan Bautista), also known as Liliw Church or Lilio Church, is one of the Roman Catholic churches in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines. Its feast is celebrated every August 29 known as the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist. The church is known for its red bricked façade and baroque style architecture. The current parish priest is Father Marciano Dijan The church has three retablos or altars finished in gold leaf. The retablo mayor (main altar) at the center contains thirteen niches across four levels housing statues of saints.[7] At the center of the lowest level contains the tabernacle. The two minor retablos on each side houses four niches of saints. Originally, these two minor retablos were dedicated in honor of the town's second patron, San Buenaventura and San Antonio de Padua. It was restored by following the description of a visiting friar through the efforts of Director Emmanuel 'Maning' Borlaza, Mrs. Concepcion Brosas and the people of Liliw. - Wikipidia
